Well after a cold, then a bout of food poisoning and yet another cold, I am finally feeling better and having a play with the My Memories Scrapbook Software. I'm really impressed with the instant results.

I can't wait to scrapbook all the photos, its such a lovely way to display them!

Of course I couldn't leave out the dolls, so here's a Halloween theme too

My latest 16" dolly. She really is the best one yet. She has pale skin and a lot more shading around her eyes and nose than my other dolls.

Her hair is extremely long and a very pleasing shade of blonde, much better than my essential too blonde or wigged out too blonde curly wig.

Her dress is beautiful, it looks and feels like it has been made out of a net curtain but somehow it works. The sheer volume and length of the dress makes it quite dramatic. I love the scale of it compared to my other dolls in the cabinet. Makes me want to get big gowns for all of them.

The black jacket is actually a thin hoody which suprised me, and I love it. The belt and grey fingerless gloves I had planned to remove but the outfit really goes together well. The jewellery is really pretty, all white beads in a variety of shapes. The only thing I don't like is the shoes, they really don't go with it, they don't go with anything. Thankfully you cannot see them under the dress, and I have other shoes I could use if I wanted to. This doll is in a different league to my other ones. She looks less human, more like a fairy or an angel or some creature like a vampire. I wasn't really expecting a gothic looking doll but that's what she is. I'm totally enchanted by her, she draws me in everytime I look at her mysterious face. I'm so glad I took the plunge and bought her, she is worth every penny.

A Bon Voyage, just arrived today (outfit only). I quickly dressed my essential wigged out and let her wear her blonde wig for the first time.

Sans Pretention 16" Doll Coat

Well here it is at last, 'Sans Pretention' I hand sewed this coat, its fully lined with a beautiful ruffled collar. The coat is Modelled by Sushi for One, Dress by Scarlet Rose Designs, and shoes by Joe Tae.
